The Children’s Health Guild Hosts Inaugural Spring Gala

Annual spring fundraiser raises over $62,000 to benefit
Children's Oakland & The George Mark Children's House.

Over 180 East Bay residents boogied down in 1970's style to benefit two prominent Bay Area children's healthcare providers, Children's Oakland and The George Mark Children's House.

The Children’s Health Guild, formerly St. Luke’s Junior Auxiliary, hosted its annual spring fundraiser, raising over $62,000 to benefit the two pediatric health care organizations. The highlight of the evening came when patient families told moving stories of extraordinary care at Children's and George Mark. Stories brought the audience to its feet in heartfelt support.

Originally founded as St. Luke's Junior Auxiliary 38 years ago, The Children's Health Guild was re-launched as an independent non-profit in early 2012. For 38 years, the organization comprised of dedicated women has raised funds to improve the health of Bay Area families.

Children's Oakland is honored to be a beneficiary of their incredible event. We wish to thank the Guild and those that attended the event for their generosity.
