Rubber Ducky Derby

Waterworld, Concord, CA
Join us for the most quack-tacular event of the Summer! These lucky ducks are raising money to help kids, while racing towards prizes and glory.
Why not adopt a ducky or two, and hope you're lucky - the 13 fastest ducks in the Derby will win prizes, including a notebook computer, roundtrip tickets on Southwest and a $10,000 savings bond!
You don't have to be present for your ducky to win, but if you'd like to be there to cheer her on, pick up your discounted all-day Waterworld tickets here; tickets to Waterworld are $20 per person, and $5 goes back to Children's Hospital & Research Center Oakland; ducks are $10 each (six for $50).
Score Fore Kids Golf Classic

This year’s Score Fore Kids Golf Classic will be held on Monday, Sept. 20, 2010 at the Claremont Country Club in Oakland, Calif.
This event has earned the reputation as being the finest golf tournament in the East Bay.

Swim Across America

Make waves to fight cancer in your community! The Bay Swim is a Swim Across America favorite. Swimming under the Golden Gate Bridge is unbeatable. Swimmers come from all over the country to participate. Expect to see recreational and competetive swimmers as well as a few Olympians.
Join us in the Bay, or start a pool swim.
"Keeping Art Alive" Dance Marathon

Veteran's Hall, Oakland, CA
The Dance Marathon will feature great music in a variety of styles and fun activities for everyone, with plenty of food and drinks to keep the dancers going, and will end with a dance "power-hour," a high-energy wrap-up.
All proceeds from this six-hour extravaganza will help keep art alive in the hearts of the young patients at Children's Hospital Oakland and help them recover from illness and injury. Your support will help us create a new Expressive & Creative Arts Program for all patients at Children's Hospital Oakland.
Lagoon Valley Trail Run

Lagoon Valley Park, Vacaville, CA
The event, benefiting the Jack & Julia Clinic for Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, is a beautiful run through the hills and trails of Lagoon Valley Park in Vacaville. Try out the 10K Trail Run, 5K Road Run, or the 2-mile Fun Run, and sign your kids up for the ½ and ¼ mile Kids’ Runs.
New this year! Thanks to generous anonymous donors, the three teams with the most registered participants will be given an additional $50-$200 to donate to the Children’s Hospital & Research Center Oakland department of their choice in the team's name!

Spring 2011 at the Fox Theater
Our 2010 event featured readings by best-selling authors Kelly Corrigan and Ayelet Waldman and music by Blame Sally and Meklit Hadero. As part of a Mother’s Day tribute, our special 2010 preview benefit event showcased this eclectic line-up of female recording artists and renowned authors for an evening of music and spoken word at the beautifully refurbished Fox Theater in Oakland.
